Drop & Merge — Privacy Policy

Effective 2 October 2026. Applies to Drop & Merge on the web and on Android.

The short version

We do not collect, store or share any personal data about you. Drop & Merge has no accounts and no analytics, advertising or tracking code of any kind. Once it has loaded, it runs on your device and works offline.

Who we are

Drop & Merge is made and published by Elixisis (elixisis.digital). "We" in this policy means Elixisis. Our contact address is at the bottom of this page.

What is stored, and where

Your game is saved only on your own device, in your browser's localStorage. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. It consists of:

• your best score in each way of playing, and your best score in today's daily jar;
• your records and achievements: how many jars you have played, your totals and your daily streak;
• the jar you are in the middle of, so you can carry on later;
• your settings, such as whether sound is on.

We cannot see any of it, and we cannot restore it if it is lost.

How to delete it

Uninstall the app, or clear the site data for Drop & Merge in your browser or in your device's app settings. That removes everything Drop & Merge has ever saved. There is nothing held anywhere else.

What our host and the stores see

• Hosting. The game's files are delivered from games.elixisis.digital by our hosting provider (currently Vercel Inc.). Like every web server, it automatically receives the technical details your device sends with a request, such as your IP address, browser type and the time, in order to deliver the files and keep the service secure. We do not use this information to identify you, we do not add anything to it, and we do not combine it with any other data.
• Google Play. If you install the Android app, Google provides the download and handles it under Google's own privacy policy. Google shows us only aggregate figures such as the number of installs and anonymous crash reports.

Children's privacy

Drop & Merge contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no real-money gambling, no chat and no links to social media, and it collects no data from anyone, including children.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not collect any.

Permissions

Drop & Merge asks for no device permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts or files. The optional vibration feedback uses the standard vibration feature and reads no data.

Security

The game is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), contains no advertising or tracking code, and makes no requests to any server other than the one it is loaded from.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, South Africa's POPIA or California's CCPA may give you the right to ask what personal data an organisation holds about you and to have it corrected or deleted. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to give you, correct or delete; everything Drop & Merge saves is already in your hands, on your device. If you have a question or think we have this wrong, write to us and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

If Drop & Merge ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you.
